Ripe berry and vanilla aromas followed by flavors of cherry, strawberry, cola, and a hint of spice. A balanced and long finish.
Individual vineyard blocks were fermented separately in stainless steel tanks. The lots were oak-aged with a mix of French, American and medium/medium+ toast levels.
Vineyards change daily and grapes evolve slowly. Our winemaker tracks the progress carefully in a longhand written journal including detailed notes, vintage by vintage, to ensure that Longhand represents the best of the Sonoma Coast.
